Job Description

Hands-on problem solver. The one who keeps everything running so communities can thrive behind the scenes Our fully-owned for-profit subsidiary La Causa Development in Arizona and in Nevada provides professional expertise in full service real estate development from design to implementation. La Causa Development, along with CPLC subsidiaries Tiempo Inc., La Causa Construction LLC, and La Causa Realty, LLC, provides comprehensive professional expertise in design and construction, in addition to construction management, property management, and sale of completed projects, to include: retail, medical, and mixed-use development, as well as residential multi-family and single family homes.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?
You will be the backbone of property operations by ensuring that all buildings and grounds are maintained, safe, and fully functional. From repairs to preventative maintenance, your work directly supports the quality, safety, and livability of our communities.
WHO YOU ARE?
You are hands-on, dependable, and take pride in keeping things working the right way. You stay calm under pressure, can troubleshoot problems efficiently, and don't mind switching between tasks throughout the day. Ideally, you bring: Experience in apartment maintenance or general maintenance work (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, or trim work preferred) A strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness The ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset A willingness to learn and grow in technical skills and certifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to speak effectively with customers one-on-one or groups of employees of organization.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
: Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) certification is strongly suggested for this position. Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) is recommended as well, but not required. Employee will be expected to participate in continuous learning, competency building and maintenance of competency skills.
