Maintenance Supervisor

What We're Looking For The Maintenance Supervisor will lead day-to-day activities related to the repair and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facility systems. This role provides leadership through training, documentation, communication, and direct technical support. Acting as a cross-functional partner with operations and engineering teams, this position helps ensure equipment reliability and operational performance aligned with business goals. Your Leadership Impact With a focus on maintenance and reliability objectives, you will help ensure production equipment operates at peak performance while meeting quality and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Ensure efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by overseeing repairs and performing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production equipment. Provide leadership, direction, training, and development opportunities for maintenance staff. Monitor repair and maintenance activities with emphasis on timeliness, effectiveness, and quality. Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process or equipment improvements using Lean principles. Participate in budget preparation and manage departmental spending with a focus on cost control and efficiency. Initiate purchase orders for tools, equipment, materials, and replacement parts while maintaining appropriate inventory levels. Review, evaluate, and coordinate outside contractor bids and work performance as required. Support evaluation and implementation of new equipment, materials, or maintenance techniques. Maintain accurate repair, maintenance, and work-order documentation. Promote and enforce workplace safety standards and proactively address unsafe conditions. Required Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience supporting equipment reliability and maintenance operations. Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical maintenance procedures, machine design, and industrial tools . Ability to diagnose and perform complex maintenance on production equipment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Experience with manufacturing safety and quality systems. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing , ISO, or similar operational frameworks is a plus.
