Job Description

Immediate Opening
  • -Long-term, Year-Round Opportunity
  • Private Club Little Harbor Club is seeking a full-time Facilities and Maintenance team member to attend to the maintenance the of the Club facilities and grounds
  • both during our busy summer season, as well as the off-season.
The ideal candidate will have maintenance and trades experience, a strong work ethic, initiative, and the ability to lift 40+ pounds. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Coordinate with supervisor to identify and address maintenance needs of Club buildings and facilities. Coordinate with supervisor to troubleshoot problems, make minor repairs, and liaise with professional labor when repairs/projects dictate. Perform general repairs such as painting, patching walls, securing hardware, hanging shelves, landscaping, unclogging drains, repairing furniture and equipment Perform outside work such as cleaning walks and parking lots, removal of trash and garbage to dumpsters. Perform physical labor such as moving furniture and equipment, lifting, climbing ladders, etc. Follow instructions concerning various chemicals used for cleaning and pool operations. Assist with construction projects, remodels, and other special projects. Operate, maintain, and repair hand and bench tools and other equipment. Enforce safety regulations and maintain vehicles in clean and functional order. Work on call as needed. Qualifications Must possess valid driver's license. Chauffeur's license preferred Pre-employment 6-panel screening required. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays in-season (May-October). Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and other personnel. Must have an understanding and working knowledge of the company's policies and procedures. Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
