Maintenance Technician

Staff Pro is partnering with KPS! Immediate need for skilled Maintenance Tech! The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing advanced maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring optimal operation of machinery and systems. This role requires a strong background in industrial maintenance and the ability to work independently while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Perform duties based on current Quality Management System and Safety Management System Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, including HVAC, hydraulics, and electrical components. Utilize schematics to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions. Perform welding tasks, including stick welding, to repair or fabricate parts as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Operate precision measuring instruments to ensure equipment is functioning within specified tolerances. Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns and communicating effectively with team members and clients. Collaborate with other technicians to develop preventive maintenance schedules and improve operational efficiency. Skills Proficient in industrial maintenance practices with a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Experience with welding techniques, particularly stick welding. Knowledge of HVAC systems and their maintenance requirements. Familiarity with hydraulics and electrical systems, including the use of voltmeters for diagnostics. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
