Job Description

Job Summary The Maintenance Technician troubleshoots and repairs industrial equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient production. This role minimizes downtime, supports continuous improvement, and assists with other plant operations as assigned.
Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 7am-5pm and Friday 7am-2pm This schedule may vary due to production needs Fridays are clean-up days for production (so during this time, PM's or any other projects are done during this time)
Essential Duties:
Make safety the top priority in all maintenance activities by following OSHA guidelines, company safety policies, and Lockout/Tagout procedures. Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on production equipment according to schedule. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using schematics and technical manuals. Repair or replace faulty parts, motors, sensors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and other equipment components. Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns and production calls to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage. Operate industrial equipment such as scissor lifts and material handling equipment. Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and relocations. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area. Communicate effectively with production, engineering, and other departments to support plant operations. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and recommend maintenance process improvements. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Working Conditions:
Work is conducted in a manufacturing setting with exposure to various production equipment and materials. The role involves some physical labor, including lifting, kneeling, bending, crawling, and other movements. Lifting up to 50 pounds on a daily basis Use of PPE, including safety goggles, gloves, and respirators, when required, to ensure personal safety during painting and equipment maintenance processes Qualifications 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively relay issues, updates, and solutions across teams. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Basic computer skills (e.g., CMMS systems, email, documentation). Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in various physical environments. Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation systems. Welding and light fabrication experience is a plus. Certain locations require pay information to be provided in job postings. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 0-7% of the hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures.
