Job Description

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and upkeep of equipment, machinery, and facility systems. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime and support overall operations. The technician may also assist with operating machinery as needed to support production.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and complete necessary repairs Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and respond quickly to maintenance requests Maintain and repair machinery, tools, and building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) Assist with operating machinery or production equipment as needed to support workflow and meet production goals Keep accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe work environment Assist with installation and setup of new equipment as needed Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding maintenance needs and updates Ensure tools and work areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or training preferred Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or facilities environment Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and time management skills Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends if needed Physical ability to lift, stand, bend, and perform manual labor as required Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
