Start ranges 5:00am to 11:00am, 8 hour work days Monday through Friday Job Description The Maintenance Technician repairs, refurbishes, and tests machines in a dedicated repair facility, ensuring they operate safely and reliably. This role documents all work using software applications, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and contributes directly to the operational performance of the department. Responsibilities Document all incoming and outgoing machines using software applications, including Oracle, Tulip, and Microsoft Office. Inspect incoming machines to identify necessary repairs, required upgrades, and any physical or functional damage. Repair machines by replacing or repairing circuit boards, mechanical sub-assemblies, and discrete electronic or mechanical components. Refurbish machines by replacing worn components and thoroughly cleaning exterior covers to meet quality standards. Perform final testing of repaired or refurbished machines to verify proper functionality and compliance with specifications. Essential Skills Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment in a repair facility environment. Ability to use test equipment to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and verify proper functionality of machines. Proficiency in electrical and electronic troubleshooting, including working with circuit boards and discrete components. Experience maintaining and repairing equipment related to the industry. Additional Skills & Qualifications Electronics degree or equivalent formal education in electronics or a related technical field. Experience repairing devices or machines in a professional repair room or service environment. Familiarity with lean principles and Continuous Improvement concepts. Comfort working with both mechanical sub-assemblies and electronic components. Ability to support Operational Excellence initiatives by suggesting and adopting improved work methods.
