As a new Full-Time Maintenance Technician at the City of Fair Oaks Ranch, you can expect a variety of engaging responsibilities each day. This position performs a variety of maintenance and repair work in support of the city's facilities, streets, and drainage infrastructure. You'll work hands-on with tools and equipment (light and heavy equipment), as well as conducting repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units. Daily inspections will be crucial to identify potential problems before they escalate. You will collaborate closely with other team members to create efficient workflows and solve problems as they arise. Communication with the public and staff will also be essential, ensuring that all interactions reflect our commitment to excellence and customer focus. Your expected schedule will be Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, providing you with a consistent work routine to thrive in your role.
