Job Description

Key Property Management is seeking a Full-Time (or Part-Time)Apartment Maintenance Technician at a 60-unit affordable housing community located in Altus, OK The responsibilities of this position include the following but are not limited to:
  • General handyperson duties
  • Live less than 30 minutes from the property & be able to respond to the property for after hours & weekend/holiday emergency calls
  • Perform daily maintenance of apartments, grounds (including some snow removal), parking lots, and common areas.
  • Custodial duties as assigned.
  • General repairs - including electrical, carpentry, sidewalk, and parking lot.
  • Painting
  • Cleaning
  • Carpets
  • Appliance troubleshooting
  • Safety systems
  • Plumbing
  • Prepare units for new move-ins
  • Assist in preparation for government inspections with an emphasis on site health and safety.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Work with the Property Manager to identify janitorial and maintenance-related and capital improvement activities.
  • Initiate, perform, and/or oversee janitorial and maintenance projects.
  • Perform apartment turnovers, repairs, grounds maintenance, and overall upkeep on a large property.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple, concurrent maintenance activities.
  • Work with Property Manager to meet and exceed the needs of the apartment community.

Pay:
$16.00 - $21.00 per hour
