Entergy Texas, Inc.-GTX This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing • This position will be filled as a Maintenance Operator, Maintenance Operator 1, 2, 3, 4, Journeyman Maint. Operator, or Mechanical Technician based on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidates. •JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Perform routine maintenance tasks and available for unscheduled call outs.JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary skill is a Journeyman Machinist/Millwright capable of operating machine tool equipment which includes a bridgeport and lathe. Also responsible for performing large and small equipment alignment. Welding may be required along with some other multi-skill activities. During unit outages, provide contractor management, quality control, cost management and schedule management. Perform other maintenance multi skill activities which includes minor electrical, instrument and controls work/inspection/repair. Identify, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment problems. Applies understanding of power plant system, starting & stopping equipment, isolating & restoring equipment for maintenance and monitoring turbine generator and large pumps. Ensures safety standards and practices are adhered to for the protection of personnel and equipment in accordance with Corporate, Environmental, Plant & OSHA policies, procedures & regulations.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education:

0-2 years' experience in operations or similar field or entry level with a background in process technology or instrumentationMaintenance Operator III:
