Job Description

Maintenance Technician Description We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and support our Production operations. In this role, you'll help keep our equipment and facility running smoothly by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. This position plays a key role in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations through preventive and predictive maintenance.
Pay Rate:
$23 to 33 per hour
Schedule:
12 hours, 7 am-7 pm or 7 pm-7 am on a 2-2-3 schedule (Extra hours will be required as needed) Perks & Benefits Weekly paychecks Direct Deposit or Cash Card pay options Medical / Dental Insurance $23.00 - $33.00 / Hour Employment Type & Shifts Full Time Temp to Hire 1st Shift 2nd Shift 3rd Shift Job Responsibilities Perform routine and minor repairs on a wide range of equipment and machinery, including drills, air cylinders, production machines, and instrumentation. Respond to major or emergency repair needs, including disassembling, installing, and rebuilding machinery and equipment. Complete work orders and provide day-to-day maintenance support for production lines. Perform preventive maintenance to help minimize downtime and ensure reliable equipment performance. Read and use mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC drawings and schematics to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues. Repair, modify, fabricate, and install parts and equipment as needed. Work with PLCs, motion control, AC/DC and servo drives, motor control systems, instrumentation, and ladder logic. Use diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, vibration analysis instruments, and computers to evaluate problems and develop solutions. Operate equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, and floor-controlled overhead cranes. Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports, and communicate equipment concerns or improvement opportunities with supervisors and production team members. Support and assist other maintenance team members, including providing guidance or training when needed. Participate in equipment installations, upgrades, and special maintenance projects. Follow all safety rules and procedures, including PPE and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO). Work in a way that supports workplace safety, environmental responsibility, and resource conservation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable using computers and common software, including Microsoft Office and Outlook. Ability to safely operate a forklift and maintain required certifications. Willingness to participate in ongoing training as equipment and technology evolve. Solid understanding of industrial equipment, maintenance processes, and safety practices. Two-year technical degree in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, or a related field preferred. At least two (2) years of general maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment required; three to five (3-5) years preferred. Ability to wear a respirator and work in confined spaces when needed. Comfortable working in industrial environments, both indoors and outdoors, with possible exposure to extreme weather conditions. Ability to stand, sit, reach, grip tools, see, hear, and communicate effectively for extended periods. Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 75 pounds Drug Test Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $23.00 - $33.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
