  • What's a typical day as a Maintenance Technician?
You'll:
  • + Perform preventative maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment + Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems + Diagnose equipment failures and minimize production downtime + Monitor machinery performance and identify potential maintenance concerns proactively + Repair and maintain mixers, presses, extruders, conveying systems, and related equipment + Record and document maintenance activities using computer systems + Work independently within assigned production areas while coordinating with the maintenance team when needed + Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment •This job might be an outstanding fit if you:•+ Have 5-7 years of progressive industrial maintenance experience + Possess strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills + Have hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems + Are comfortable using computers and programs such as Windows, Word, and Excel + Can work independently and respond effectively in fast-paced manufacturing environments + Have strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities + Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent •Nice-to-have skills:•+ Experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments + Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and documentation systems + Strong electrical and mechanical repair experience + Ability to read schematics and technical manuals + Experience working with rotating shift schedules •What happens next:•Once you apply, you'll move forward in the hiring process if your skills and experience are a strong match.
