If you enjoy troubleshooting, working with your hands, and being the person who keeps things running, this role is a strong fit. What You'll Be Doing Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and basic electrical systems Perform preventative maintenance including filter changes, lubrication, and equipment cleaning Clean, inspect, and maintain molds used in production Assist with setup and installation of new machinery and equipment Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters to identify issues Maintain building systems including heating and plumbing Perform repairs on machinery, equipment, and facility components Support general facility upkeep and maintenance tasks Follow all safety procedures in an industrial environment What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED 1-3 years of maintenance or mechanical experience Trade school or apprenticeship experience preferred Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Ability to use diagnostic tools such as multimeters Willingness to learn equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and scissor lifts Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask Reliable and open to working overtime as needed Why You'll Like This Job Up to $25/hr based on experience Work in a clean, modern manufacturing environment Off-shift schedule with less day-to-day traffic and interruptions Easy commute location outside of downtown Traverse City Hands-on role with real equipment and systems Opportunity to grow into advanced maintenance or skilled trade roles Stable, full-time position with a reputable local company About PMP Personnel Services At PMP Personnel, we're not just a temp agency — we help connect you with long-term opportunities that match your goals.
