RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the Company's mission, vision, values, and goals in the performance of daily activities.
  • Support automated frame assembly line maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Maintain robotic welding equipment and process to ensure quality product
  • Repair and preventative maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and robotic systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues within the automated assembly equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, conveyors, and robots
  • Install, replace, repair pumps, cylinders, valves, bearings, chains, belts, and various other components as needed.
  • Communicate with the management, quality, and production to resolve any issues and log downtime information
  • Working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Understanding and ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical components, using a VOM
  • Basic understanding of welding and welding processes
  • Knowledge and experience with basic mechanical assembly, fabrication skills, and use of shop equipment
  • Basic computer skills for email and logging downtime information
  • Good communication skills and working well independently and in a team environment
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Journeyman and/or associate's degree in a related field
  • 1-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, or similar role.
  • Robotics experience (FANUC preferred)
  • Experience setting up or troubleshooting welding equipment or with the robotic welding process
  • PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley RS Logix 5000/Studio 5000 preferred)
  • Understanding automated control equipment, IO link blocks, proximity switches, and photo eyes
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
PHYSICAL DEMANDS, WORK ENVIRONMENT, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Duties include but are not limited to standing, walking, bending, lifting, lift, talking, and hearing, with an ability to travel. When visiting plant site locations, employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration, or hazardous materials.
