$28 - $38 per hour Job Details - Our company, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly skilled Permanent Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving the efficiency of our production equipment and systems. This role is integral to our operations, as it ensures that our machinery is always in excellent condition, reducing downtime and enhancing productivity. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, preventive maintenance, quality control analysis, machining, CNC, basic safety, and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating optimally, reducing the need for repairs. Analyze and carry out necessary repairs on machines and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime. Work closely with the production team to understand their needs and make necessary adjustments to equipment. Implement quality control analysis, identifying areas for improvement and making necessary adjustments to enhance machine performance. Operate and maintain CNC machines, ensuring their smooth and efficient operation. Adhere to all safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the workplace. Collaborate with the management team to develop maintenance strategies that increase efficiency and reduce costs. Document all maintenance and repair work for future reference and record-keeping.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. Proven experience with mechanical and electrical systems, preventive maintenance, repairing, quality control analysis, machining, CNC, basic safety, and maintenance. Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and machinery. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve problems. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical team members. Strong commitment to safety, demonstrating high standards of health and safety at all times. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team. Relevant certification or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred.
