Job Description
Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Vernon County, Wisconsin, to support their food manufacturing plant. This multi-craft role covers mechanical , electrical , controls , and facilities maintenance to keep production, packaging, and utility systems running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Night shift: 6pm-6am , Wednesday, Thursday and every other weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment including packaging, metal detection, case packing, and palletizing Calibrate and document sensors and instrumentation critical to food safety compliance Perform preventive and corrective maintenance Ensure safety by following all company policies, including safety rules, procedures, Lock-out / Tag-out procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), personal safety standards, food safety standards as well as OSHA standards Participate in Continuous Improvement and team projects Support facility maintenance including safe operation and maintenance of steam boilers, water chillers, cooling towers, well pumps, HVAC, and various other plant utility equipmentQualifications:
Industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food/beverage or sanitary environments Skill with PLCs, VFDs, instrumentation, 480 VAC power, pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematic reading Work environment includes onsite conditions with temperature variations, noise, chemicals, and pressurized systems Mechanical background in maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing bearings, seals, and gaskets Mechanical background in a production setting; troubleshooting and repairing gearboxes, sprocket/chains, belts, clutches, bearings, and brakes Strong plus if trained and experienced in compressed air systems, basic plumbing/piping, Boilers, and Hydraulics Manufacturing machinery experience required Sinatra Brown Search Consultant • gpacManufacturing Call/Text:
