Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all facility systems and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers and wiring. Fabricate parts as necessary to support repairs and maintenance tasks. Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operational procedures. Supervise maintenance staff when required, providing leadership and guidance on best practices. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities. Skills Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures. Proficiency in electrical systems troubleshooting and repair. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics effectively. Experience in welding is a plus for fabrication tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting. Strong leadership abilities to supervise teams when necessary. Proficient in English for effective communication within the team and with other departments. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
