Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, mechanical equipment, and electrical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct repairs on refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and related mechanical components with precision and efficiency. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts when necessary, demonstrating leadership qualities in coordinating tasks. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure compliance and accountability. Assist with construction or renovation projects as needed to improve facility infrastructure. Skills Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair and equipment maintenance. Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC/R systems effectively. Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for accurate diagnostics. Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and HVAC/R equipment repair. Strong understanding of construction principles related to facility maintenance or upgrades. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide or mentor team members during maintenance tasks.
