Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician We are looking for someone to be an integral part of our Darlington, PA location. Under general supervision, performs a variety of general maintenance duties which include electrical, mechanical, welding, plumbing, and servicing equipment just to name a few.

Key Responsibilities:

Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance Problem solves mechanical devices and electrical equipment in operation Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts Assist with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC system, changing filters, bearings, etc. Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments Maintains inventories of equipment, parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent / Technical School preferred One to three years Maintenance Experience Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment In-depth knowledge of system maintenance Ability to lift and move heavy equipment Familiarity with safety standards and regulations Proficient with Microsoft Office Software Good interpersonal and time management skills, along with attention to detail The Benefits of Working for DESOTEC!
