Job Description

FCC Indiana located in Portland, IN currently has an opening for a Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift. The FCC (INDIANA) Maintenance Technician must be well rounded in technical ability in the following areas of hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, PLC and electrical.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Support the Maintenance department with daily maintenance and repair of machines, mechanical equipment, and building. Follow written and verbal instructions in order to adhere to machine/equipment preventative maintenance schedule Inspect and test machines/equipment to effectively diagnose machine malfunctions Repair machines/equipment using basic maintenance tools Assist with fabricating items and building repairs Comply with departmental continuous improvement activities (product quality, production efficiencies, scrap, downtime, etc.) Promote and ensure conformance to the companies
TS 16949
procedures (work standards, regulations, quality manual) Promote and ensure conformance to the companies
ISO 14001
procedures (recycling, reducing waste) Promote and ensure a safe, clean, harassment free, working environment. Comply with department 5C activities Effectively communicate with management, direct supervisor, associates and suppliers Additional projects assigned by management
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age Previous manufacturing experience preferred High School Diploma or equivalent Strong mechanical skills Basic pneumatic, hydraulic, welding and electrical skills Experience troubleshooting manufacturing processes preferred CNC experience preferred Ability to lift 40lbs Communication, teamwork, cooperation
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 2nd shift 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Overtime as required
