Maintenance Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across a variety of systems. This position offers an opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced setting, contributing directly to the seamless functioning of our operations. Responsibilities Handles service on systems such as cooling water, water treatment, compressed air and A/C, either hands on or working with contract service personnel and other employees. Must be able to plan and perform preventive maintenance activities. Will work closely with the setup team, who performs many of these PM tasks. Will order parts as needed, with approval for extraordinary items. May include some travel to pick up parts, training, etc. Will work closely with tooling supervisor to help out with mold maintenance and repair. Assures a safe work environment and maintains safe work habits. Other reasonable job-related duties at the request of the Operations Manager. Experience Job requires knowledge and ability with hydraulics, electrical and mechanical machinery components. Understanding of the process parameters is also required. Familiarity with a variety of types of equipment is necessary, including hydraulic injection molding machines, all electric injection molding machines, high speed assembly machines, CNC and cam operated Boucherie bristling machines. Other equipment includes spin welding, ultrasonic welding, gluing, foaming, pad printing and screen printing. Must demonstrate knowledge and skill with tools. Pay:

$22.83 - $31.10 per hour
