This customer is a leading beverage manufacturer/distributor in the state. Qualified candidates will have previous experience in a food products/packaging environment. Understand various packaging machinery and the ability to troubleshoot/changeover equipment Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. This role involves performing routine and complex maintenance tasks across various systems to ensure optimal operation, safety, and efficiency of our equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and construction-related maintenance. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, functional environment that supports our operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives. Duties Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and appliance systems to identify potential issues before failure Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions efficiently using schematics and technical manuals Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, filters, valves, and electrical wiring Assist with construction projects or upgrades by installing new equipment or infrastructure components Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or installations as needed Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities Skills Extensive appliance repair experience with a strong understanding of mechanical systems Proven service technician background with knowledge of schematics and technical diagrams Familiarity with HVAC/R systems, refrigeration technology, and air conditioning units Strong mechanical aptitude combined with construction skills for installation and repairs Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently under pressure Leadership qualities to guide team members or coordinate external contractors effectively Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration across departments This position offers an engaging opportunity for motivated individuals eager to apply their technical expertise in a fast-paced environment.
