Maintenance Technician:

Observes mechanical devices, equipment and machinery in operation and listens to their sounds to diagnose machine malfunction and determines the need for adjustment, repair or replacement. Studies blueprints, sketches, machine parts or specifications . Dismantles machinery and/or equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts.
