Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment and systems across our facilities. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where mechanical knowledge, technical skills, and leadership qualities are highly valued. The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and the longevity of our equipment and infrastructure. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other equipment to ensure optimal operation. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct appliance repairs and service tasks related to HVAC/R systems, air conditioning, and refrigeration units. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, replacing or repairing components as needed. Assist with construction or renovation projects related to facility maintenance. Lead small teams during maintenance projects or repairs when necessary, demonstrating leadership skills. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and protocols to promote a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or refrigeration. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams. Experience in equipment repair, HVAC systems, air conditioning, refrigeration, or related fields such as construction is preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members during maintenance tasks. Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to building maintenance and equipment operation. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently and effectively. Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC/R or appliance repair are advantageous but not mandatory.
