Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our busy apartment complexes in Stateline, NV. In general, you will perform whatever work is necessary to keep properties in excellent condition.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

Completing repair work for day-to-day work orders, as well as unit turns, which includes tasks such as repairing/replacing doors, cabinets, windows, closet bars, drywall, toilets, light bulbs, light fixtures, blinds, smoke detectors, sockets, switches, etc. Performing basic plumbing tasks, which includes unclogging drains as well as fixing leaking faucets and toilets. Performing regular cleaning duties, which includes trash cleanup and dump runs as well as basic cleaning as needed. Maintaining all outdoor areas, which entails mowing, trimming, and edging where applicable as well as shoveling snow and ice as required. Monitoring inventory of maintenance supplies. Promptly responding to requests for emergency repairs and clean-ups. Ensuring that all maintenance equipment is in good working order.

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

High school diploma or GED. Sound knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical. Proven general maintenance experience. Active driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to pass a clean background check and drug test. The ability to safely operate hand and power tools. The ability to lift heavy objects. Proficient with technology, ability to learn and utilize software. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent time management skills. Effective communication skills. Good hand-eye coordination.
