People • Customers • Trust Maintenance Technician Packaging Corporation of America Plant Address City, State Maintenance Technician Packaging Corporation of America Responsibilities include but are not limited to: This position will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including: diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems on plant equipment. Technicians work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities as well as answer break down calls in a Production Environment. All Maintenance Technician positions are multi-craft, and training is provided to develop these skills. Basic Qualifications 2+ Years' experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery. A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus. Be Authorized to work in the US. Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus. Must have a basic understanding to follow instructions in English Preferred qualifications: Experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment. Demonstrated longevity of at least eight months in previous employment. Preference given to candidates with previous experience.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Starting salary for position: $25.00-38.00/hr based on experience

Bonus:

Annual - Based upon achievement of plant performance

Paid Vacation:

2 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year. Paid Holidays. Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages. Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions .
