Maintenance Technician

Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Pay range from $28 - $35 depending on experience! (Higher level electrical positions open as well) Aerotek is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support equipment and facility maintenance in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on production equipment.

Job Description:

Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment Maintain processing equipment, conveyors, packaging machinery, and plant systems Diagnose and repair mechanical components such as bearings, belts, chains, and gearboxes Troubleshoot basic pneumatic and low-voltage electrical systems Perform routine facility maintenance including plumbing, building repairs, and general upkeep Support equipment installations and line changeovers Perform light welding and fabrication (MIG/TIG) on stainless steel components Use CMMS to document maintenance activities and work orders Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards Collaborate with production, QA, and sanitation teams to maintain safe operations

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime Execute preventive maintenance programs on production machinery Maintain accurate maintenance records and parts usage Perform facility and equipment inspections to ensure safe operation Assist with installation and setup of new equipment Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements:

2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing (food, beverage, pharma, or packaging preferred) Strong mechanical aptitude (bearings, belts, chains, drive systems) Experience with basic pneumatics and low-voltage electrical systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
