Overnights Job Summary:

Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment

Job Responsibilities:

• Work safely in every case and promote safety at every interaction with associates
• Assists in performs routine maintenance of production machines and equipment
• Perform building/facilities maintenance as needed
• Regularly perform PMs including cleaning and lubricating machinery
• Regularly inspect plant equipment and moving parts
• Repairs or replaces defective equipment parts
• Maintains a clean and organized tool and work area
• Properly fill and complete TSR's (service reports) reports
• Promptly respond to any maintenance calls
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 1-3 years maintenance experience is required, technical education desired and may in some cases be substituted for experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledgeable of welding, pneumatics, and hydraulics is a plus
• Knowledge of refrigeration equipment maintenance and boiler repair is a plus
• Must be physically able to lift 50lbs safely
• Willing to work 40+ flexible schedule as needed
• Punctuality is essential
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus
• Possess team mentality with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Be able to be on call if needed
• Performing electrical troubleshooting up to 480 volts is a plus
• Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility

Environment:

• Extensive amounts of walking on concrete floors
• Ability to bend, lean, stoop, or crawl on hands and knees
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Exposure to extreme cold temperatures
• Must be able to work around fruit
