Wood Manufacturing Plant Job Summary:

The Maintenance Tech provides support for the various departments by maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment and machinery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance on all types of production equipment with limited supervision Follow all company safety and quality requirements Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment throughout the various departments Provide mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance as needed Must have experience in metal fabrication and welding Must be able to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends as needed

Requirements:

1+ years previous industrial maintenance experience to include mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical experience Ability to use and understand precision measuring tools and equipment Requires good communication and technical skills along with being detail oriented Troubleshooting/diagnostic skills

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly throughout the day Regularly required to use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms Regular bending, stooping, stretching, twisting, and turning Frequently required to stand (up to 10 hours) and walk Noise level is usually moderate Exposure to head and cold extremes at times Exposure to potentially hazardous production areas (heavy equipment traffic, slip/trip hazards, airborne dust/debris, etc)
