Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift Job Description We are seeking a dedicated 3rd shift Maintenance Technician to join our team in a plastic injection molding facility. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of machinery, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment. The role requires collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and implementing improvements to enhance overall efficiency. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance records. Implement improvements to enhance overall efficiency. Essential Skills 4+ years of industrial maintenance and preventive maintenance experience. 4+ years of experience in troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics, and bearings. Proficiency in electrical maintenance and PLC troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and hydraulic blueprints. Possession of a toolbox and set of basic tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Maintenance experience with plastic injection equipment. Industrial certificates or degrees. Ability to troubleshoot 480v 3-phase systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics. Welding and fabrication skills. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment includes older equipment with some oil leaks, and there are plans to start upgrading the equipment this year. Employees should be comfortable working in oily conditions. The role operates on a 3rd shift schedule from Sunday to Thursday, 11 pm to 7:30 am, with an early start on Sundays. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Goshen, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
