About us Pure Property Managment Company is local management company hiring for a position at a newly built, 324-unit apartment complex and house rentals in Fremont, NE. We are looking for a Maintenance professional to join our team.
Summary:
The Maintenance Technician performs general upkeep and repairs in residential properties. They address issues, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, while also responding to resident requests and maintaining property safety and aesthetics.
Essential Duties:
Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
  • Maintenance and repairs of property, including but not limited to sheetrock, painting, appliances, water irrigation systems, flooring, gutters, lights, stairs, gates, patios, shutters, doors, cabinets, doors/locks, pool furniture, among others.
  • Responsible for maintenance of electrical and plumbing (e.g. ceiling fans, drains, faucets and fixtures), A/C and heating systems (e.g. furnace filters, cleaning flame sensor, etc.), where a license is not required.
  • Ensure that all make-ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule.
  • Possesses knowledge of budget and budget compliance.
  • Remove and transfer heavy appliances and equipment from storage area to apartment (or vise versa) as circumstances warrant.
  • Assist in moving abandoned furniture, appliances, etc., to dumpster when necessary.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials to handle most common repairs and situations. Identify all utility meter cut-offs, apartment and fixture cut-offs, sewer cleanouts and prepares maps indicating same.
  • Performs work area clean-up and safety related duties.
  • Assist in keeping grounds neat and free of litter and debris.
  • Perform snow removal, trash pick-up, rake, sweep, shovel, as circumstances warrant.
  • Work toward continuous quality improvement.
  • Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, the individual in this position must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills and ability required.
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
  • Ability to use/navigate the Internet and email, computers, word processing, graphics and multimedia, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Ability to create presentations and spreadsheets.
  • Utilization and proficiency in industry specific software.

  • Valid Driver's License [CL1]

  • Exposure to a substance that negatively affects the respiratory system, eyes, skin or other living tissue via inhalation, ingestion, or contact.
  • Job requires work outdoors with workers unprotected and exposed to the elements. This does not include the commute to/from work.
  • Exposure to non-weather related temperatures that are 32 degrees or colder if the exposure is for less than 1/3 of the work day.
  • Exposure to non-weather related temperatures that exceed 85 degrees in a humid atmosphere OR 90 degrees in a dry atmosphere.
  • Job requires working with electrical energy sources such as exposed electrical wires, faulty equipment, or energized conductive objects.

The benefit is 60% of employees' pay and maxed out at $6,000 per month. Vision and Dental After 30 day waiting period, Employees have the option to purchase Vision and Dental coverage via a direct deduction from their paycheck at Employee's expense. Life:
After 30 days of employment, Employer will pay 100% of premium for all employees to enjoy a $20,000 life insurance policy. Long Term Disability After 30 days of employment, Employer will pay 100% of premium for all employees to enjoy a Long Term Disability policy whereas employee will continue to receive 60% of their income for any debilitating injury.
