Job Title:
Maintenance Technician Job Description This role focuses on maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, installations, and repairs on a variety of manufacturing machinery, including PLC-controlled, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Responsibilities Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Troubleshoot electrical issues on machinery, including identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Install, configure, and commission new manufacturing equipment and related electrical components. Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems to resolve automation and control issues. Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic machinery, including components such as valves, cylinders, and actuators. Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues and address them proactively. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used in accordance with site procedures. Follow safety procedures and best practices while working on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Essential Skills Hands-on experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment. Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing faults in industrial equipment. Ability to troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled machinery. Experience working with hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and repair. Experience working with pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and repair. Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices for manufacturing equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and equipment specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications Certifications in a manufacturing-related field are a plus. Formal schooling or technical education in a manufacturing-related industry is an advantage. Familiarity with industrial safety standards and safe work practices. Strong attention to detail and commitment to equipment reliability. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position operates in a manufacturing facility on a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The environment is non-climate controlled, so temperatures may vary with the seasons. You will work around industrial machinery, electrical systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, following site safety procedures and wearing appropriate work attire and protective equipment as required for a production setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orrick, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
