Maintenance Technician

Bell Management is a property management company who offers a variety of housing in Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. We offer a competitive pay rate plus benefits that include: Paid Time Off (PTO) given at 90 days pro-rated from your start date Paid Holidays from your start date We are seeking a highly motivated maintenance technician/groundskeeper to perform general maintenance/grounds tasks. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable navigating a fast-paced, evolving environment. Must be willing to travel to Maries county.

Responsibilities:

Handling basic repairs Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary Patching drywall and painting apartments Basic plumbing and electrical skills General HVAC knowledge Completing work orders Maintaining curb appeal by picking up trash and debris Maintaining dog parks by picking up pet waste and keeping dog stations stocked Planting trees/shrubs/flowers Trimming trees/shrubs/flowers Pulling weeds Mulching Water trees/shrubs/flowers Cleaning grilling areas Responsibilities may include: Transport, install and connect stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, and other electrical and gas appliances Load and unload trucks and other conveyances; move supplies and materials to the proper location by wheelbarrows; collect refuse and salvageable materials Transport equipment, furnishings, and appliances to job sites Repair and fabricate window and door screens and frames Remove and repair damaged drywall Operate power blowers or use shovels to clean sidewalks, and driveways of leaves and debris Position requirements: Knowledge of basic maintenance required Understand, read and write to follow basic instructions, take direction from supervisors, respond to routine questions and communicate effectively with tenants and property managers

Travel:

As part of the job responsibilities, this position requires the willingness and ability to conduct local travel as needed. This may involve running errands related to business operations and fulfilling various tasks that contribute to the smooth functioning of the property needs. The extent and frequency of travel will depend on the specific demands of the job and may vary over time. This job will encompass a 35-mile radius of the Maries County area.
