Maintenance Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across various systems. Duties Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct inspections of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration), and construction elements to identify potential issues early. Utilize schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose complex mechanical or electrical problems accurately. Lead small maintenance projects or assist in larger construction or renovation tasks as needed. Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and future reference. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and ensure safety. Skills Strong appliance repair skills with the ability to troubleshoot diverse mechanical issues efficiently. Proven experience as a service technician with knowledge of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment repair. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints accurately. Mechanical knowledge covering HVAC systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning, and general building maintenance. Experience with construction or renovation projects is a plus. Leadership qualities with the ability to guide junior team members or coordinate maintenance activities. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a detail-oriented approach to maintenance tasks.
