Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for facilities maintenance at select accounts. Develop long-term, high quality customer relationships through collaboration. Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all clients. Ensure services exceed each client's expectations.
Key Relationships:
Good customer relationships are followed when interacting with clients and co-workers. Be sincere, build trust, be dependable, and be respectful. Show kindness and communicate openly. Listen to feedback from the client and co-workers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform facilities repairs and maintenance, such as minor electrical, painting, drywall repairs, carpentry, etc. Perform basic diagnostics of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems Communicate basic diagnostics to external vendors Respond to work orders generated by the client Promptly provide guidance to in troubleshooting client requests/complaints or deficiencies identified during client inspections Submit reports as required Follow all health and safety regulations Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Provide first-class service by adhering to quality and customer service standards Develop and maintain professional relationships with each client and ensure the client is retained through providing the best service levels in accordance with their contract. Listen to constructive feedback with the intent to learn from it to enhance cooperation within the department Engage in designated communication channels, including SWEPT Perform related duties as assigned by the
Operations Director and Site Leader Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external clients Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion Pay attention to detail—take pride in work Reliability and the ability to work without direct supervision Be a committed team player who can work cooperatively with others Must be honest and hardworking. Sound problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Strong interpersonal skills; able to effectively influence others through positive, proactive communication style Leadership skills - positively impact client and employee relations Exhibit confidence to lead and motivate others to perform well Must show proficiency in basic handyman skills
Preferred Qualifications/Licenses:
HVAC Electrical Plumbing Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with productivity standards and procedures. May require an employee to bend, reach, and stand for extended periods of time.
