Advanced understanding of electrical safety and motor control circuits and programmable drivesTroubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issuesComplete projects to add electrical circuits and controls, new equipment and relocate machinesMaintain and repair pneumatic systems including repairs of cylinders and other componentsPerform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructionsEnter all work completed in computer-based maintenance programMonitor and report spare parts usage including completing parts order formsAdjust equipment based on Statistical Process Control data and team with QATrain Level I and II technicians in more complex tasks and skillsPerforms other duties as assigned
Proficient in Word and ExcelMust be willing to attend training sessions as needed, including out of state locationsAbility to assist in Training Level I and II TechniciansIntermediate knowledge of fabrication (ex. welding, basic machining)Possess strong work ethic and knowledge of intermediate troubleshootingAble to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphicsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and within a team, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships employees, vendors, contractors, and suppliersAbility to show attention to detail in a very fast paced environment
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
Exposure to variable temperatures as impacted by the weather, chemicals, and rotating shifts Work Environment Mainly a manufacturing facility, where exposed to moving mechanical parts, forklifts, heavy pallets, moderate to loud noise level, and air-borne dust, powders, and fumes. While working, will be required to wear various personal protective equipment (e.g., clothing, gloves, goggles, safety glasses, steel toed shoes, cut resistant aprons, etc.) based on work area or task. Qualifications2 years associate degree in a related field or equivalent past work experience Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) experience Basic PC skills (MS Windows) Ability to work in a team environment and self-direct activities Strong customer focus Continued technical training required each year

Maintenance Technician III is an Electro-Mechanical position and responsibilities will include but not be limited to supporting manufacturing operations, adjusting and repairing equipment as needed, tracking usage of and ordering replacement parts.Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipmentPerform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustmentsRepair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating conditionAdvanced understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current and resistanceDiagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc.Advanced understanding of electrical safety and motor control circuits and programmable drivesTroubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issuesComplete projects to add electrical circuits and controls, new equipment and relocate machinesMaintain and repair pneumatic systems including repairs of cylinders and other componentsPerform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructionsEnter all work completed in computer-based maintenance programMonitor and report spare parts usage including completing parts order formsAdjust equipment based on Statistical Process Control data and team with QATrain Level I and II technicians in more complex tasks and skillsPerforms other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Associates degree in related field, or equivalent related experience3-7 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out proceduresAble to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality.
