Facility/Maintenance Experience Position Summary:

The Maintenance Worker ensures the Job Corps center's facilities and grounds are safe, functional, and well-maintained, supporting a positive learning and living environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) Conduct inspections to identify safety hazards and maintenance needs Maintain grounds, including landscaping, snow removal, and general upkeep Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and students Ensure compliance with OSHA and center safety standards

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in facility maintenance or related trade Working knowledge of building systems and repair techniques Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
