Maintenance Worker

We are looking for a Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks around our summer camp and conference center property such as groundwork, repairs, and trash removal. Being reliable is extremely important. Full-time hours with weekend work are required. Flexibility with days off during the week. The ideal candidate will have experience and a solid work ethic. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina for outdoor work, heavy lifting, etc. Responsibilities Ability to drive various maintenance vehicles around the property (training will be provided) Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, etc. Trash collection and disposal from commercial kitchen on property Do property upkeep by mowing lawns, collecting trash, etc. Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm) Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations Report to facilities or maintenance manager for issues Skills Experience using hand and electrical tools Very good communication and interpersonal skills Physical stamina and dexterity High school diploma or equivalent
