Maintenance Worker

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe and functional environment for all occupants. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in various maintenance disciplines, including electrical work, mechanical repairs, and facilities upkeep. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance of properties to ensure optimal functionality. Perform light maintenance in assigned areas (i.e. change light bulbs, oil hinges, clear plugged drains and report major repair needs). Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Sign daily log sheets Communicate effectively in English with team members and management regarding maintenance issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills Proficiency in painting techniques. Strong background in facilities maintenance with hands-on experience. Ability to maintain equipment and perform preventative maintenance tasks. Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting methods. Solid mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues accurately.
