Maintenance Worker/handyman

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker/Handyman to join our dynamic facilities team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our residential or commercial properties. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and supporting facility improvements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and handyman skills in a fast-paced setting that values initiative and quality workmanship. Must be able to work efficiently and independently with a keen eye to detail, as this is a wedding venue and attention to detail matters. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure optimal operation. Conduct repairs involving ,carpentry, and general building maintenance. Plumbing knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory. Have a solid knowledge of how to use basic tools, including power tools. Assist repairs to enhance property appearance. Perform basic lawn care, such as weed eating the grounds prior to weddings. Must comply with safety protocols and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Qualifications Proven experience as a handyman. Must be proficient in English. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to lift over 50lbs without the risk of injury. Must be in good health/ no back issues.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
