Water Department Maintenance WorkerDaggett Community Services District Position SummaryUnder general supervision, performs basic maintenance, repair, and operational duties related to the District's water system, facilities, equipment, and grounds. This position assists with daily operations, leak repairs, inspections, meter reading, and general maintenance work.

Essential DutiesAssist with maintenance and repair of water lines, valves, hydrants, pumps, and related equipmentRead water meters and report problems or leaksPerform general maintenance of District buildings and groundsOperate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipmentAssist with emergency repairs and service callsMaintain basic records and reportsFollow District safety proceduresPerform other related duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredBasic maintenance, construction, plumbing, landscaping, or mechanical experience preferredAbility to perform physical labor outdoorsAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyValid California Driver License requiredCertificationsWater certifications are preferred but not required at the time of hire.

Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
