Job Description

Category Imaging - Mammography Job Type Contract Deliver essential patient care as a Mammography Technologist, utilizing your expertise in imaging to support a respected healthcare facility for a contract assignment. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality mammography services in a professional, collaborative environment.
Schedule:
Five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (Days)
Required Qualifications:
Valid ARRT(M) certification Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Active Kansas radiologic technologist license Previous experience performing mammography studies Demonstrated proficiency with digital mammography equipment Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and patient-centered care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Core Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic mammography procedures following established protocols and patient safety standards Review clinical histories and documentation to ensure appropriate imaging Position patients correctly and explain procedures to minimize anxiety and ensure clarity of results Operate and maintain mammography equipment, troubleshooting as needed to ensure optimal image quality Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive imaging services Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies Uphold a compassionate and professional environment, prioritizing patient comfort and privacy This contract opportunity lasts for 13 weeks and is ideal for skilled mammography technologists seeking to expand their experience in a supportive setting.
