some of your typical work assignments may include: Analyzes, develops, and evalues issues, and develops detailed plans, goals, objectives, and recommendions to resolve substantive problems and issues of effectiveness and efficiency of work operions for long-range implemention in assigned program area. Participes in and manages the preparion, and maintenance of the Joint Manpower Program (JMP- the Joint Table of Distribution (JTD), the Joint Table of Mobilizion Distribution (JTMD), Service manpower documents (e.g., Unit Manpower Document (UMD), Activity Manpower Document (AMD), Table of Distribution & Allowances (TDA), and Table of Organizion & Equipment (TO&E)), and the Organizion and Functions Manual) through the Joint Staff, the Services, andUSTRANSCOM.
Actively participes in or facilites management studies and planning to improve organizional direction and focus using approprie manpower management planning tools and techniques. Responsible for the accomplishment of an effective manpower program which includes in-depth analysis designed to facilite recommendions and decisions pertaining to the distribution and utilizion of manpower resources. Designs, plans, and conducts research projects; and provides advisory services on a wide variety of substantive issues with extensive scope, complexity, and impact throughout a complex organizions with interreled processes and functions. This position is designed by the AF as a Test Designed Position (TDP) under the AF Civilian Drug Testing Program. Qualificions You may qualify the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualificions: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Performs Manpower Management Program implemention across all functional areas of a combant command. Documents and adjusts manpower requirements in response to unforeseen changes in organizion, methods and procedures resulting from budget alterions and limitions imposed by the Department of Defense (DoD). Provides complex management support services in the areas of program analysis, annual multi-year/long-range fiscal planning (e.g. Defense Planning Guidance (DPG), and Planning, Programming Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) cycles). Provides supervisors/managers and senior leadership advice reling to effective and efficient management of manpower resources. Manage requirement through accure da analysis, tracking and maintenance of manpower documents. Applies manpower initiives to ensure compliance and meet the mission needs of an organizion.
