Management Trainee

Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Management Trainee to join our growing consignment retail team. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about fashion, home décor, customer service, and retail operations, and who is eager to develop leadership and management skills in a fast-paced environment. The Management Trainee will work closely with store leadership to learn all aspects of daily operations, including pricing, merchandising, customer relations, staff support, and inventory management. Knowledge of current fashion trends, designer brands, home accessories, and retail pricing is highly valued. Responsibilities Assist with daily store operations and management duties Provide exceptional customer service to buyers and shoppers Evaluate and price consignment items based on brand, condition, style, and market value Stay informed on current fashion trends, designer labels, and home décor styles Help maintain organized, visually appealing merchandise displays Support inventory management and merchandising efforts Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently Assist with training and supervising team members when needed Problem-solve quickly in a fast-paced retail environment Travel to nearby towns or store locations as needed Open and close the store responsibly and accurately Qualifications Previous retail or management experience preferred Knowledge of fashion brands, home accessories, and resale value strongly preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy Self-motivated with a positive attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Flexible schedule, including weekends Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally What We Offer Opportunity for advancement into management roles Hands-on leadership training Dynamic and creative work environment Employee discounts Competitive pay based on experience
