80 Position Overview
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including monthly financial statements, trial balances, and account reconciliations. Coordinates with Finance Director PACE on budgeting, forecasting, and internal/external reporting needs. Tracks and reports key financial metrics and trends to support decision-making and operational improvements. Manages day-to-day accounting functions, including A/P, A/R, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. Assists with CMS, HPMS, and state-mandated financial and statistical reports. Supports the claims process by reviewing and validating claims reports in coordination with the TPA, flagging anomalies for escalation. Reviews vendor invoices and payment schedules, ensuring proper documentation and alignment with budget. Monitors grant and funding allocations (if applicable), ensuring proper documentation and compliance. Assists with audits by preparing supporting schedules and coordinating documentation requests. Maintains internal controls and supports implementation of updated fiscal procedures under direction of the Finance Director PACE. Provides training to center staff on financial procedures as needed. Ensures timely and accurate submission of staff mileage, timecards, and expense reports. May oversee finance support staff or interns as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting required. Three years leadership experience in healthcare finance, preferably within the non-profit sector.
