LEAD:
Universal Music Group is seeking an E-Commerce Operations Manager to work across our clients' stores to ensure best-in-class eCommerce services are provided to all customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fastpaced, high-volume environment, is organized, and can react quickly as business needs change. The E-Commerce Operations Manager handles ongoing tasks and projects working with cross functional departments. They oversee inbound inventory processing, maintain efficient logistic operations, and monitor various platforms to ensure a quality customer experience through the order life cycle. How you'll
CREATE:
  • Monitor inbound inventory levels to ensure product is arriving and orders are being fulfilled in a timely manner, consistent with communicated customer timelines for select roster of stores
  • Support D2C department with the completion of ad-hoc client store and product requests, including review and approval of data entry by store managers at time of store/product launch
  • Work closely with warehouse partners, to streamline communication and drive process and quality
  • Serve as an advocate for the consumer experience from time of project ideation to post-sale engagement
  • Lead in weekly meetings to communicate project goals, statuses, and identify any potential bottlenecks
  • Produce and distribute frequent receiving, shipping, and inventory reports, including trouble shooting and resolving issues
  • Manual review, reporting and resolution of unfulfilled orders in the order management systems
  • Constantly collaborate and communicate across various eCommerce teams to assist in projects and flag issues with Customer Service, Store Management, and overall Operations teams

VIBE:
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Supply Chain, eCommerce or Software Quality Assurance experience
  • 2-5 years experience working e-commerce
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with many individuals and teams, including many different personalities.
  • A self-starter who is keen to identify opportunities for operational improvement and process documentation
  • Experience with workflow software (Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, Monday.com, etc)
  • Knowledge of Shopify a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adjust as needed
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced environment and successfully juggle multiple projects and tasks with tight deadlines
  • Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Trustworthy with sensitive information
