Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Full Service Restaurant Manager to lead our team at Jimmy Madison's Southern Kitchen & Whiskey Bar, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for every guest. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, manage staff, maintain food quality standards, and uphold outstanding customer service. Your leadership will drive the success of our establishment by fostering a positive work environment, implementing operational procedures, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hospitality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the guest experience while honing your leadership skills in a fast-paced, vibrant setting. Responsibilities Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to promote a high-performance culture. Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation across all menu items. Manage daily operations including shift management, inventory control, and cash handling to optimize efficiency and profitability. Utilize POS systems such for order processing, sales tracking, and reporting to streamline restaurant transactions. Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike. Coordinate with kitchen management on food production, staffing, rotation, stocking and inventory. Execute staff training programs focused on customer service excellence, food handling protocols, and hospitality management best practices. Oversee budget management including labor costs, food costs, and overall expenses to meet financial targets. Foster a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with guests directly and resolving any issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction. Uphold policy and standards to ensure all guest and team interactions reflect our company values. Skills 2-3 years in full service restaurant management within casual dining environments; Fast Food or Quick service experience not applicable. 2 Years Full Time Serving and/or Bartending Experience Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and kitchen management. Proficiency with POS systems for sales transactions and reporting. Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated experience in supervising teams, training staff, and managing shifts effectively. A Servant Leadership oriented mindset. Expertise in inventory control, food safety standards (including HACCP), and food handling procedures. Skilled in cash handling procedures, budgeting, and cost control strategies to maximize profitability. Exceptional customer service abilities with a passion for hospitality excellence. Ability to interview candidates effectively and develop team members through ongoing training & development initiatives. Creating a work environment that is positive and business first, contributing to an environment of retention and consistent development. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
