Job Details:
The primary purpose of this position is to lead and direct a GP PS Hatchery Team to deliver high‑quality products that meet customer expectations while achieving financial and business objectives.Key responsibilities include:
Providing quality products to customers globally Achieving production and financial goals Developing and maintaining effective communication with customers, shared services, and other hatcheries Meeting HR and safety objectives that support hatchery facilities Developing, evaluating, and implementing new processes and technologies Maintaining compliance with domestic and international regulations governing Cobb business activities Recruiting, developing, and maintaining a qualified team Essential competencies include: Interpersonal Savvy, Drive for Results, Directing, Leading, Problem Solving, Time Management, Organizational Agility, Ethics and Values, Motivating and Delegating, Conflict Management, Written and Verbal Communication, Developing Self and Others, Listening, Peer Relationships, Approachability, Comfort with Higher Management, Managerial Courage, Business Acumen, Decision Quality, Decision Timeliness, Informing, Creativity, and Building Effective Teams. Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in a general professional field, typically obtained through four (4) years of college, or equivalent work experience preferred. Experience Four (4) or more years of poultry management-related experience preferred. Computer Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals using available computer programs.Supervisory Responsibilities Direct supervision of:
Four(4)+ salaried team members Approximately 40+ hourly team members Travel Domestic travel approximately four (4) times per year. Biosecurity Requirements This jobsite is a biosecure environment requiring shower‑in/shower‑out procedures, which may include multiple showers during the workday. The Company provides all required clothing and footwear. No jewelry may be worn except approved medical ID jewelry. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid contact with avian species (chickens, ducks, birds). Must follow the Company Animal Welfare Policy at all times. Must follow all Cobb Farms Hatcheries Biosecurity Standards. Physical Requirements Must use safe lifting techniques. Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects or controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk, and hear. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Personal Protective Equipment Must follow all required safety procedures and wear designated personal protective equipment when visiting facilities.Relocation Assistance Eligible:
