Assistant Manager Role Why You'll Love This Role:

This position is ideal for someone passionate about health and fitness who is ready to step into management. As a Manager in Training, you'll play an active role in daily club operations while continuing to coach small group and one-on-one personal training sessions. You'll work closely with the General Manager, gain hands-on leadership and sales experience, and prepare for future growth opportunities within Anytime Fitness. Key Responsibilities Support the General Manager in an Assistant Manager capacity Assist with daily club operations, client scheduling, and leadership coverage Lead small group training and one-on-one personal training sessions Build strong relationships with members and support retention efforts Support membership sales and personal training sales initiatives Assist with community outreach, local marketing events, and promotions Maintain club standards for cleanliness, safety, and equipment Develop increased leadership responsibility through structured training Qualifications Background in personal training, fitness coaching, or group fitness (Personal Training Certificate preferred) Interest in or experience with assistant manager or leadership roles Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Sales-minded with the ability to support both individual and team goals Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude Coachable mindset with interest in fitness management and operations Career-focused with long-term leadership goals Compensation & Benefits Complimentary Anytime Fitness membership Competitive salary with commission opportunities Health, Dental, and Vision insurance 401(k) with 5% employer matching Paid time off and paid holidays Clear advancement path to General Manager Supportive, growth-focused leadership team Schedule Full-time (38-40 hours per week)
