Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40 We are seeking an IT Governance Manager with a robust blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and strategic thinking experience who is deeply familiar with the technical aspects of IT infrastructure but also skilled in managing people and aligning IT governance strategies with business objectives. The ITDS Governance Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing an organization's ITDS governance framework, ensuring alignment between ITDS strategies and business objectives. They play a pivotal role in establishing policies, standards, and processes that govern the effective management and utilization of ITDS resources.
Major Responsibilities:
Develop and implement ITDS governance framework in line with organizational objectives Ensure ITDS projects are carried out in accordance with set standards, procedures, and guidelines Manage and coordinate ITDS governance activities and initiatives Monitor and evaluate ITDS performance to ensure process improvements Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management plans Liaise with stakeholders to make decisions for operational governance and strategic planning Responsible for the development and updates of the ITDS Strategic Plan Ensure ITDS governance principles align with company policies and regulations Provide guidance and leadership to ITDS team members Identify and manage resources needed for the planning, development and delivery of specified information and communications systems services Develop measure to ensure that IT investments deliver the expected and contribute to business objectives

Exempt Work Schedule:
Days | Monday-Friday Flexible work location: While this role offers some flexibility in work location, candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of La Crosse or Green Bay, WI due to frequent on-site needs. Immigration sponsorship (e.g., H-1B) is not available for this position.
What You'll Need:
Education:
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration or related field. MSc/MA will be a plus
Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Preferred but not required: Certified in Technology Business Management (TBM), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in leadership and 3+ years in practice or equivalent experience IT Governance Managers require a combination of technical expertise, leadership abilities and understanding of business processes.
These qualifications and skills include:
Technical understanding of ITDS systems and platforms, with an ability to comprehend and manage complex ITDS infrastructures. Strong knowledge of ITDS governance frameworks and best practices, such as COBIT, ITIL, or ISO/IEC 27001, to ensure the organization's ITDS processes are aligned with its goals. Leadership skills to oversee and manage the ITDS governance team, ensuring they are effectively implementing and adhering to policies and procedures. Strategic planning abilities to develop and implement ITDS governance strategies that align with the organization's objectives. This includes partnering and collaborating with Emplify EPMO Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and address issues that may affect ITDS governance or pose risks to the organization. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interface with various stakeholders, including ITDS staff, management, and external auditors. Understanding of compliance requirements and standards in the industry to ensure all ITDS processes and systems are compliant. Experience in risk management to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with ITDS operations. In addition to the rewarding work, you'll receive:
